 TSUNAMI  RELIEF PROJECT.

 

As you know through the media, an unprecedented Tremor and Tidal waves(Tsunami) hit some of Asian countries,Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka,Thailand,Malaysia, Myanmar,Somalia and Bengladesh ,on Dec.26,2004, morning. As a part, it also hit in our nation India and our islands Andaman and Nicobar islands. The united Nation says the number of people killed by the tsunami is more than 1,50,000 and the exact figures may never be known.

 JAN EGELAND, UN Emergency Relief coordinator said that " we will never, ever have the absolute, definite figure because there are many nameless fishermen and villages that have just gone and we have no chance of finding out how many they were".Missions Asia has been launched a relief operation on a massive scale in the areas hit by Tsunami ,tidal waves and earth quack.
